This Rully 1er Cru La Pucelle from Paul & Marie Jacqueson comes from vines planted in 1992 on soils composed primarily of limestone and brown clay. This is a terroir of great complexity that produces wines with an exceptional aromatic richness for the appellation. This 1er Cru is built for aging and will reach its full potential in about ten years.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: The Rully 1er Cru La Pucelle from Paul & Marie Jacqueson possesses the rare ability to combine the freshness of lemon, the roundness of white fruits, and a mineral structure reminiscent of marble. It is the most enveloping Premier Cru in the Jacqueson range, and undoubtedly the most immediately appealing.

The nose opens with notes of acacia, hawthorn, and honeysuckle. A delicate hint of elderflower sets the tone, accompanied by violet, lemon, white peach, and flint. With time, notes of honey, white flowers, and butter enrich the bouquet.

The palate is full of fruit, well-structured, full-bodied, and long. The freshness of the limestone terroir carries the finish to a remarkable length.
