The Riesling Grand Cru Brand of the Albert Boxler wine estate is a rather warm terroir, as it faces south and south-east, and is mainly composed of granite and clay, which are capable of fixing manymineral elements and transmitting them to the vines.

Situated mid-slope, the vines draw deeply from the soil, thanks to their advanced age and respect for the terroir. As a result, even in very hot years in Alsace, which are no longer so rare, the wines achieve magnificent balance.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This Riesling Grand Cru Brand produced by Jean Boxler is masterfully intense. It retains fine, precise acidity and extraordinary concentration. Winemaking in old foudres for 1 year prepares it for oxygen, so it's full of life right from its youth. Of course, it would be more accurate to taste it 10 to 15 years after bottling, like most great Rieslings.

On the nose, the wine is vibrant and expressive, seductively fruity with notes of pear, mirabelle plum and cinnamon, combined with hints of wisteria and elderflower, giving this Riesling Grand Cru Brand a real charm.

The palate is full-bodied, with many of the same flavors as on the nose, as well as hints of ginger, lemon, tangerine and a minerality that gives the whole a magnificent tonicity . Just sublime !
