The Sang Froid cuvée from the Jean-Claude Buecher wine estate is a magnificent bubble made from Pinot Noir grapes from 2 different Grands Crus. One third comes from Wintzenheim's Grand Cru Hengst, another third from Grand Cru Steingrubler and the final third from Walbach.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: The Sang Froid crémant produced by Franck Buecher has a very elegant profile worthy of the greatest champagne bubbles. It follows in the footsteps of the great crémants produced by the wine estate, with just over 5 years' ageing on laths.

On the nose, the wine is extremely precise and pure. This crémant is a delight to discover, with notes of gunflint, lily of the valley, orange blossom and superb toasty touches complemented by pastry notes.

The palate is lively, bright and greedy. The floral fragrances that enchanted the nose resurface on the palate. Ripe peach, quince jelly and a hint of elderberry are also present on the finish. A highly complex Crémant d'Alsace.
