La Ferme des 9 Chemins ' Pinot Noir Les Terrasses des 7 Chemins draws its richness from its atypical terroir ofPermian and Vosges sandstone, which covers the Reichsfeld hillsides in Alsace. These sandy-gravel soils, rare in the region, offer a unique balance between natural drainage and moderate water retention, enabling the Pinot Noir vines to express a complex aromatic palette and sustained tannic structure, guaranteeinga rare capacity for ageing. Jeanne Gaston-Breton has been cultivating her vineyards organically and biodynamically for several years, and devotes part of her 7 hectares to the production of this exceptional Pinot Noir in Alsace. Planted on the hillside, the parcels benefit from an ideal south-east exposure. Hand harvesting, grain-by-grain sorting, no-input winemaking and gentle ageing in stainless steel vats and foudres produce a wine that combines power, elegance and finesse.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Jeanne Gaston Breton's wines are real jewels, and this Pinot Noir "Les Terrasses des 7 Chemins" is striking proof. It has everything you'd expect from a great Pinot Noir: dense, spicy, fruity and remarkably fine. In this wine, we can perceive all the talent of this young winemaker who succeeds in bringing out the true facet of the Reichsfeld terroir.

On the nose, the cuvée reveals a beautiful complexity of intense red fruit: burlat cherry, wild raspberry and delicate blackcurrant. Subtle hints of violet and undergrowth, as well as a touch of white pepper, enhance this aromatic profile and herald the complexity to come.

On the palate, the wine seduces with its silky texture and balanced tannic structure. Flavors of wild strawberry and Morello cherry mingle with soft notes of cinnamon and clove, enriching the aromatic framework without ever dominating. An airy freshness emerges, typical of sandstone terroirs. The delicate bitterness of ageing and an impression of crystalline purity, the hallmark of a terroir tamed by the sensitive hand of Jeanne Gaston-Breton, round out the long finish. What mastery!
