The Pinot Blanc Réserve from the Albert Boxler wine estate is a wine that perfectly sums up Jean Boxler 's comprehensive expertise. It's a grape variety often considered second-hand and unappealing, but here it's quite the opposite. We discover an unusual Pinot Blanc, energetic and clearly tending towards minerality.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Jean Boxler's Pinot Blanc Réserve has noble origins, coming from very old vines planted close to the Grand Cru Brand , which benefit from granitic soils perfectly suited to Pinot Blanc. You have to drink it to believe it.

On the nose, the bouquet is very fresh, with notes of white flowers, lemon, jasmine, pomelo and gunflint. This mineral imprint asserts itself as the tasting progresses.

On the palate, as always at the Boxler wine estate, the precision is formidable. The ripeness of the grapes gives a concentrated, sensual attack, followed by a lovely, fresh structure that reveals flavors of citrus juice and passion fruit. The finish is very sapid, stimulated by an invigorating minerality.
