The Bandol rosé from the Terrebrune wine estateis one of Provence's finest wines, its blend of Mourvèdre (60%), Grenache (20%) and Cinsault (20%) seductive in its finesse and elegance. Reynald Delille rigorously cultivates his vines using organic methods, in order to offer the best expression of the Bandol terroir. This is no less than one of the world's most renowned gourmet rosés, and certainly one that appeals to the widest possible audience.
Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Bandol rosé from the Terrebrune wine estate is a wine of character produced by passionate winemakers. The ambition is clearly to produce the best rosé in Provence , a choice taken on by Georges Delille and then his son Reynald. The soil, composed of limestone pebbles and brown clay, encourages the vines to put down deep roots and contributes to the unique signature of the wines. Harvested at full maturity, plot by plot, the grapes are sorted by hand and gravity-fed into vats. Fermentation takes place at low temperature in stainless steel vats , as does ageing, preserving all the wine's freshness and finesse.
On the nose, the wine opens with notes of passion fruit and orange blossom. It continues with hints of citrus and a beautiful mineral imprint. This wine gives off a real sensation of naturalfreshness that makes you want to go on tasting.
The palate is extremely fresh and mineral. Its fullness and greediness are unrivalled. Beautiful exotic and floral notes are embellished by an invigorating minerality. This wine is a perfect match for grilled fish, shellfish or Provencal cuisine.
