Domaine Jean Foillard's Morgon Corcelette is one of the appellation's finest climats. The soil is composed of sandy sandstone, giving this Morgon a crisp, crunchy texture. This Gamay is vinified by cold carbonic maceration in whole bunches before being aged in large foudres. Bottling is done without filtration and with little added sulfur.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Cuvée Corcelette from the Jean Foillard wine estate is one of Morgon's most gourmet cuvées. It stands out from the Côte de Py with its very elegant, more chiselledexpression due to its more draining terroir. The wine's rare minerality adds length to the palate.

On the nose, the wine reveals magnificent notes of fresh redcurrant, wild raspberry, hints of undergrowth and some subtly spicy aromas. The nose is full of charm and finesse, in keeping with the wine estate's style.

On the palate, it's a perfect match for the nose, with red fruit notes that give the wine its delicious mouthfeel. The mentholated freshness we gradually discover gives this superb Morgon a digestible and very delicious side. Another gem from Jean Foillard.
