Le Pouilly Fussé Closes Reyssié is one of the best climates of Pouilly Fuisse. It is a historical parcel of the commune of Chained where the vine was already present in the 3rd century AD. At that time, Chaintré was a small Gallo-Roman town named after Catriacia.

This Clos is located in the hills argilocalcaria exposures in the South East. The field Dominique Cornin currently has the chance to have vines planted since 1936 on the Clos Reyssié.

The chardonnay on this terroir gives a dense and generous material that supports very long farms and above all delivers an immense potential for guarding.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Closed is a Puilly Run out of standard. A very special care was taken to the rearing, first he spent 1 year in Burgundy barrels with very little sticking in order to keep the maximum freshness and authenticity. Then a second rearing is carried out for another 12 months so that the wine refines and regains its balance. It is a Fussé Pouilly that reveals natural power and generous character. It therefore offers many possibilities for agreements with white meat and poultry.

On the nose, the scents of quince jam, syrup peach, vervein, a touch of amaretto and acacias express very easily from the opening. With a little extra time in the bottle you can discover more saline, iodized and floral notes.

The mouth is wide with a beautiful, seductive attack. We quickly understand the potential of this wine that shows itself at once invigorating, a large energy and a beautiful roundness. The balance between land and the vineyard project achieves perfection on Pouilly-Fuissé.
