The wine opens with a concentrated, complex blend of violet flowers, rose petals, concentrated cherry and raspberry notes, cranberry and plum. Notes of moss and undergrowth, foliage and fresh lime complete the picture of this exceptional Grand Cru located right in the middle of the Corton hillside.

On the palate, this Grand Cru is fascinatingly smooth and charming. The power is already perceptible, but will only reveal itself with a few years of bottle age. The texture is fine, the substance fleshy, the acidity firm. Tart, herbaceous notes of rapeseed, laurel, undergrowth, tobacco and tangy chocolate emerge in the background, becoming more and more obvious and blending with the fruit in a very complex finish that makes you want to go back for more.
