Mâcon Cruzille La Baume from the Vignes du Maynes wine estate is a new cuvée, full of finesse and tension. The Chardonnay grapes are planted northwest of Mâcon, and are grown in very low yields to produce elegance and complexity. The priority is to obtain grapes of uncommon aromatic intensity.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Mâcon Cruzille La Baume cuvée created by the Vignes du Maynes wine estate is a wine as precise and sharp as any of the estate's other wines. Its 12-month barrel ageing gives it a density and deliciousness unknown to other winemakers. It's also a wine that can be left to age for several years.

On the nose, the wine projects us into a world of freshness and sparkling minerality. Notes of wet pebbles, fresh chervil and acacia.

The palate is vibrant, with greedy notes of apricot, orange and delicate hints of ripe greengage perfectly stimulating the palate. The wine'sdynamism is enhanced by citrus notes, hints of cereal and superb, invigorating acidity.
