Antoine Lienhardt’s Bourgogne rouge is born of a simple conviction: to let the wine speak for itself. Today, the estate owns two plots of old vines in Comblanchien, planted on red clay and limestone soils, vinified as whole clusters, without sulfur—simply the most authentic expression of the grape variety and the terroir. Certified organic since 2016, Antoine Lienhardt works according to biodynamic principles to foster the natural, non-interventionist expression of the vines.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Antoine Lienhardt’s Bourgogne Rouge is an ideal introduction to the estate’s world, with its candor, drinkability, freshness, and vitality that far exceed its classification.

On the nose, kirsch stands out immediately—soft and rich—enhanced by a hint of supple leather and a light floral note that gracefully lightens the overall profile.

On the palate, the acidity is lively and precise, the tannins are well-integrated, and the light, juicy texture leads to a fresh, almost crisp finish.
