The Worldly Saint John of the Gate of the Cellier de la Baraterie is the pride of the young winemaker Julien Viana. The vine is located on a primary limestone rock composed of red clays. It is one of the most prestigious terroirs of Savoie that gives austere wines in youth but d. The farm is made exclusively in stainless steel tanks in order to keep a nice freshness.
Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : La Mondeuse du Cellier de la Baraterie is one of the most beautiful representations of the region of Saint Jean de la Porte. Julien Viana did a big job in the vineyards to keep the most high purity of fruit. The result is bluffing.
On the nose, the wine is dominated by notes of green pepper, spices, currants. After a two-hour carafage, notes of leather, juniper berries and a floral touch appear.
In the mouth, the attack is wide, the tannins still a little tight and the aromatics in retreat. The wine opens perfectly after a few hours of opening and reveals beautiful spicy touches and a very gourmet finish. To discover
