Domaine de Montille 's Beaune 1er cru Les Grèves is a sublime Côte de Beaune wine whose oldest vines are 60 years old. It's a wine of great precision that rivals Burgundy's most prestigious appellations. Etienne de Montille vinifies this Beaune in the classic Burgundian way, while preserving the authenticity of this specific terroir.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Beaune 1er cru Les Grèves is a Burgundy that surpassed all my expectations. It's one of the finest Beaune 1er crus I've ever tasted. Its profile is at once highly complex, formidably precise and exceptionally elegant . A real favorite, both in terms of the finesse of its expression and its overall balance. A wine of incredible finesse and brilliance.

On the nose, hints of freshly picked raspberry, gooseberry and a touch of licorice wood. A great finesse and crispness worthy of the finest Côte de Beaune wines.

The palate is juicy and fleshy, with a fresh attack and a fine tannic structure. The wine is really pinot-like, both bright thanks to the Pinot Noir and deep thanks to the exceptional quality of the terroir of the Les Grèves parcel. A Beaune 1er cru that should be tasted blind to impress even the most seasoned of guests.
