Wine Description

Domaine de la Pousse d'Or's Corton Grand Cru Les Bressandes is a benchmark Burgundy wine . The vines are located on a clay-limestone terroir and are on average 45 years old. The wine is aged on fine lees for 18 months, 12 of which are spent in oak barrels without fining or filtration.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Domaine de la Pousse d'Or is renowned for its meticulous approach to viticulture and winemaking. In fact, the wine estate has been working with organic and biodynamic methods for over 10 years. This environmentally-friendly method considers the vine as a living ecosystem, integrating the moon and planets into the viticultural calendar.

On the nose, this Corton Grand Cru Les Bressandes offers a complex aromatic palette, with notes of ripe red fruit, black cherry, blackcurrant and delicate floral touches.

On the palate, red and black fruit flavors blend harmoniously. Black cherry and blackcurrant are particularly prominent, supported by subtle spicy and woody nuances. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, offering a long, elegant finish.
