The Roc des Anges wine estate's Reliefscuvée is made from a selection of old Carignan, Grenache Noir and Syrah vines . This blend also includes a number of white grape varieties planted between 1911 and 1944. The terroir is composed of schist and clay rich in silica. Winemaking is carried out in whole bunches, with ageing in tuns for 9 months.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Reliefs cuvée from the Roc des Anges wine estate is produced in the purest Catalan tradition. The predominance of carignan gives it remarkable breed and structure on the palate. The aromas of this wine transport us to the garrigue. We discover an explosion of fruit and spices particularly well integrated into the whole.

On the nose, the wine opens with notes of candied red fruit, timut pepper, prune liqueur and even a hint of viandé, which adds a great deal of character.

On the palate, the tannic structure is intense, powerful and sanguine. These ripe fruit notes are complemented by hints of leather, tobacco and spices. The finish is rounded off by lovely bitters that add length and freshness.
