Wine Description

The Feu Sacré cuvée from the Mas Cal Demoura wine estate is made from very old plots of Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre. The clay-limestone terroirs in which the vines are planted give this wine great amplitude and complexity. This cuvée is one of the most exclusive on the wine estate, highlighting the quality of the Terrasses du Larzac heritage.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Feu Sacré is a wine with a comforting profile that reveals its authenticity, solidly rooted in very old vines planted on the finest Languedoc terroirs. Aged in demi muids, each parcel is vinified separately.

On the nose, the wine impresses with its power. Magnificent notes of sweet spices, mentholated hints and slightly rustic, sanguine notes.

The palate is full-bodied with racy tannins. The Mas Cal Demoura wine estate's hallmark is a perfect balance between finesse, power and freshness, with that characteristic rustic touch.
