Domaine Jacqueson 's Rully 1er cru Grésigny Vieilles Vignes is unquestionably the white Rully with the greatest potential in the entire appellation. Thanks to the characteristics of its clay-limestone terroir and east-facing exposure, this Rully has extraordinary ageing potential.

Winemaking is carried out in barrels, only 25% of which are new, to avoid giving the wine a woody taste.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Grésigny climate is one of my favorites in the Rully appellation. I have a huge soft spot for this premier cru, which reveals extraordinary mineral intensity and complexity over time. The Jacqueson wine estate has revealed the full potential of this magnificent cru.

On the nose, the wine expresses itself with a little restraint in its youth. There are lovely notes of exotic fruit, lemon and all kinds of citrus. After decanting for around 2 hours, notes of verbena and brioche appear.

On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, quickly counterbalanced by remarkable acidity and mineral touches. A wine that is still a little restrained in its youth, but which will express itself perfectly 8 to 10 years after bottling.
