Thibaud Boudignon 's Savennières Clos de La Hutte was born on a small parcel of land surrounded by walls, where the vines were planted in 2011. The adventure of this talented winemaker began on this exceptional terroir. The omnipresence of schist and bedrock, which is only 20 cm deep, and the presence of a few fine clays and sands, all combine to give Chenin a full body that delicately reveals a mineral, spicy and saline column.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : On his beloved Clos de La Hutte, Thibaud Boudignon signs Savennières of great elegance, where the finesse of the grain and the mineral identity give birth to airy, slender juices. Above all, these are wines of balance!

The nose is distinguished by its freshness and complexity, blending herbal notes of green tea, eucalyptus and sage with the concentration of citrus zest and ripe stone fruit. On aeration, hints of beeswax, honeysuckle and white pepper add relief and a singular subtlety to the whole.

On the palate, the attack is lively and chiselled, full of an acidic finesse that delicately stretches the material. A real freshness pervades this wine, whose salinity and fine vegetal bitters prolong the flavors of stone fruit and citrus on the straight, energetic finish.
