The goldsmith of Catalonia

The Gauby wine estate covers more than 85 hectares, including 45 hectares of vines and 40 hectares of meadows and forests. This makes it one of the largest wine estates in the Roussillon region.

It was in the early 90s that the wine estate began to make a name for itself. Gérard Gauby, a former international rugby player, embarked on his winegrowing career with the aim of making deep yet easy-to-digest wines. He succeeded in raising his wine estate to the top and making the Gauby name the benchmark for the entire Roussillon region.

Today, his son Lionel Gauby has taken over the wine estate, tirelessly carrying on his father's work. He is making further progress in his winemaking and is gradually moving towards a fresher, finer style of wine.

The Gauby wine estate is a constantly evolving family story, revealing the quintessence of Roussillon terroirs.
