The Michel Bouzereau et Fils family has been established in Meursault for over 7 generations. They have always cultivated the vines here. But it was Michel Bouzereau who gave the estate the impetus it needed to become a benchmark in Meursault. After 20 years working on the wine estate, Michel Bouzereau decided to pass the torch to his son Jean-Baptiste . Since 1999, he has managed the wine estate with the same passion as his father. He is always keen to improve the quality of his wines. That's why he ages his wines for 12 to 16 months in carefully selected oak barrels. The family's signature is to transcribe the terroir as accurately as possible. The aim is to avoid denaturing the product by over-oaking the wines. It's a pure, crystalline, lacy style! Meursault wines are made in the best possible way, and Domaine Michel Bouzereau et Fils is an example for many in Burgundy, and rightly so.
