Sylvain Loichet

The Sylvain Loichet wine estate is located in Chorey les Beaune, Burgundy. It produces wines from the Chorey les Beaune, Ladoix, Côte de Nuit Village, Saint Aubin and many other appellations.

The wine estate was created in 2004 by Sylvain Loichet's grandfather, who owned several hectares of vines. At the time, these plots were worked by other Côte de Beaune winemakers.

Little by little, the wine estate grew to a total surface area of 8 hectares, all organically farmed from the outset.

Domaine Sylvain Loichet wines are meticulously crafted from start to finish. The grapes are harvested by hand, strictly sorted twice, once in the vineyard and once in the cellar.

Ageing lasts around 18 months, with the time spent in barrel varying considerably from one terroir to another. The identity of our wine estates is reflected in the desire to make the best possible wine over time. The austerity of youth gives way to a wonderful complexity after 10 years of ageing, even for the whites. This can be seen as "old-fashioned" winemaking, with wines that need to rest to reveal their full potential.

The cuvées we have chosen are Chorey les Beaune, Côte de Nuit Village Reserve de la Comtesse and the coveted Saint Aubin^1er cru En Remilly and Ladoix "Bois de Gréchons"
