The story of the Mas Cal Demoura wine estate began in November 2003, when Isabelle and Vincent Goumard discovered what they call their little corner of paradise. Yet nothing predestined this couple to embark on this adventure. Both city dwellers and executives, they tasted and discovered wine through wine clubs and parties. But never for a second would they have thought of taking the plunge. It was their meeting with Jean-Pierre Jullien,Olivier Jullien 's father from the Mas Jullien wine estate, that was to determine everything. He was looking for a buyer for the wine estate he had created in 1970 near Jonquières. The couple's curiosity was aroused, and it was during a visit to the wine estate that they fell in love at first sight. With the invaluable help of Oliver Jullien and their other winemaker neighbors, they were able to realize their hidden dream and set up the Mas Cal Demoura wine estate together, with the help of the young couple's hard work and enthusiasm.

Today, their efforts have paid off, as the wine estate ranks among the top winemakers in the Terrasses du Larzac terroir. They emphasize the development of their terroir through organic farming and the use of numerous grape varieties typical of the area. The 16-hectare wine estate boasts several terroirs, including the highly acclaimed Terre de Jonquière and two whites, including the splendidly fresh L'Etincelle.
