Long description

The Kévin Bouillet wine estate, located in Pupillin, near Arbois in the Jura, is the fruit of the passion of a winemaker who, in 2018, took over family plots and completed his wine estate with vines acquired from retiring winemakers, thus creating a 4-hectare complex. From the outset, Kévin Bouillet chose to practice organic viticulture, growing the five emblematic Jura grape varieties - Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir - as well as a rarer variety, Melon à Queue Rouge. Among his most memorable experiences, he worked alongsideEvelyne and Pascal Clairet at the Domaine de la Tournelle wine estate.

The vines, aged between 40 and 70 years, flourish on typical Jura terroirs of Lias limestone and red marl. Kévin Bouillet adopts a meticulous, respectful approach to nature, recording every treatment and ensuring rigorous soil maintenance to preserve the natural balance of the plots.

In the cellar, he favors low-intervention winemaking that faithfully reflects the terroir of Pupillin and the identity of Jura wines. The wine estate's flagship cuvées include Savagnin Ouillé, a dry white wine offering freshness and characteristic aromas of nuts and spices. Pépin Blanc, made from 100% Melon à Queue Rouge grapes, boasts a clean, crystalline structure. Finally, its Pinot Noir reveals a dazzling finesse and persistence worthy of the finest wines.
