Domaine Etienne Loew 's Pinot Noir Westhoffen Nature comes from magnificent plots of land on the black marls and Muschelkalck in the shadow of the famous "Menhir" cru. This is one ofthe best value Nature pinot noirs in Alsace. Etienne Loew wanted us to discover his work through a cuvée that's digestible but not devoid of substance.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin :Etienne Loew has been producing no-sulfur-added wines for a short time, and is now recognized for his talent. These magnificent Pinot Noirs are always harvested when ripe, then macerated for 15 days with 95% whole grapes. A wine full of freshness and structure.

On the nose, the wine reveals superb notes of black cherry, light touches of licorice and magnificent hints of dried roses. A very elegant , fresh first impression.

The palate is marked by notes of black fruit, blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant. This Pinot Noir reveals a veritable basket of fruit. Throughout the tasting, the balance is perfect, thanks to an invigorating acidity.
