Wine Description

The exceptional Cannubiterroir is located in the village of Barolo. It represents the appellation's most prestigious cru. This unique terroir confers great elegance on the wine. It is best appreciated after a few years in the cellar. The longer the wine ages, the greater the finesse, delicacy and length that will emerge.

Even if the nebbiolo grape expresses itself powerfully in its youth on terroirs with strong character like Cannubi, the fact remains that Chiara Boschis ' stylemakes this wine one of the most sensual Barolos I've ever tasted.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Nebbiolo grape is more than interesting in the evolution of a wine of this potential. The tannins refine over time. In 7 to 10 years, this wine will be a monster of refinement, freshness and elegance worthy of Cannubi, one of Barolo's finest crus. Chiara Boschis is a true winemaker who has made her mark in Barolo through hard work in the vineyard, adapting to each vintage.

On the nose, the wine opens with notes of spices, cedar and violets. This is a wine of uncommon density and, above all, enormous potential. Notes of juniper berry, strawberry, black cherry and black tea emerge.

The palate is full-bodied, with a powerful tannic structure and pronounced acidity. This is the main characteristic of Nebbiolo. The aromas are complex and will gain in intensity and finesse. A great wine!
