Domaine Ganevat's Savagnin cuvée Les Rescapés owes its evocative name to the devastating frost of April 2021. Jean François Ganevat vinified the rare Savagnin berries on all his different terroirs, between marl, schist and clay-limestone. What nature almost destroyed, the winemaker has sublimated into a memorable wine.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: " Domaine Ganevat 's Savagnin Les Rescapés is superbly dense, buttery and scathing.

The nose is bursting with notes of ripe apple, fresh quince, pear and fresh hazelnut. The olfactory richness continues to grow as the wine opens, promising aromatic development of great complexity over the coming years.

The palate is pure, gushing fruit, with flavors of pear, white peach, guava and sweet spices. The long, invigorating finish reveals a saline persistence that builds real tension and calls for a second sip.
