Wine Description

The Chablis 1st Cru The Forests of the estate Jean Collet and Fils occupies one of the hills of the valleys that reach the valley on the left bank of the Serein with a South-East exhibition. This plot is composed of blue clay that makes its soil very compact. This particular terroir gives us wines of great complexity. The wines are very accessible in youth and show a very charming profile.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The first Les Forêts cru in the Jean Collet estate is one of the first atypical wines in the vineyard. It is characterized by a much more appearance on fruit than on minerality. Its alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous and its breeding is carried out 90% in ovoid concrete tank and 10% in pieces Bourgogne 228 litres.

On the nose, the wine opens onto beautiful notes of white flowers and exotic fruits. There are also citrus scents. The olfactory expression is intense and precise.

In the mouth, this Chablis is sipmed with sun. Its fruit is bursting with freshness and greed. The slightly floral fragrances bring a touch of elegance to this Chablis which becomes very aerial.
