Wine Description

Domaine Joblot 's Givry blanc 1er cru Mademoiselle is a blend of Chardonnay from the Servoisine parcel and the oldest vines from the Veau parcel. This is the new grand cuvée from domaine Joblot, the alter ego of the cuvée L'Empreinte. It is aged in oak barrels, only half of which are new.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Mademoiselle cuvée is a new creation by Juliette Joblot, who continues to breathe new life into Burgundy winegrowing. A highly successful Givry blanc 1er cru that elegantly combines exotic notes with hints of spice.

On the nose, the wine develops lovely hints of malt, toast, mirabelle plums and ripe white peach. A very intense but still elegant first impression.

On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, with hints of cereal and toast. The minerality reveals itself on the mid-palate, bringing great freshness and a highly digestible side. Yet another feat from Juliette Joblot.
