Wine Description

Kevin Bouillet's cuvée Savagnin Ouillé comes from a marly limestone terroir in the Arboisappellation . This is one of the parcels harvested last, benefiting from both sunshine and a continuous breeze. The wine is aged like a traditional white wine in 500-liter tuns for 10 months, with no new wood. A cuvée produced in the purest Jura style, with no tricks or gimmicks.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Kevin Bouillet 's Arbois Savagnin Ouillé is one of the wine estate's signature wines. Ageing takes place in oak barrels with regular topping-up over a period of 24 months, giving the wine roundness while preserving its freshness and liveliness.

On the nose, the wine expresses itself with great finesse, with notes of exotic fruit, acacia and floral honey. The bouquet gradually evolves towards more floral hues. There are also hints of dried fruit.

The palate is perfectly balanced, its generosity and freshness a pleasure to drink. Complexity is clearly this wine's strong point, as is its particularly long, sapid finish.
