Wine Description

The Son Altesse cuvée from the Les Vignes de Paradis wine estate is one of the freshest, most floral wines produced by Dominique Lucas. The plots are located on the shores of Lake Geneva and are farmed biodynamically, bringing out the best in the Allobroges terroir. The Altesse grape, also known as Roussette , reveals a refined, gourmet profile that's the perfect accompaniment to an aperitif dinner or even a fine white fish.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : His Altesse is a very fine cuvée from the terroirs of the Crepy appellation , which Dominique Lucas gave up in 2014 so that he could work his vines in his own way. The entire winemaking process is carried out according to biodynamic principles. This is also one of the rarest wines produced by Dominique Lucas, with only 852 bottles produced in 2019.

On the nose, the wine reveals beautiful notes of white flowers, yellow fruit and aromatic herbs. A hint of aniseed adds freshness and originality.

The palate is both fine and gourmet, in the purest style of the wine estate's wines. You can tell that the grapes have been harvested at perfect ripeness, as the acidity is very present but not violent. A very fresh wine of remarkable purity, demonstrating the evolutionary potential of Altesse, long mistakenly considered a small grape variety.
