Wine Description

The cuvée Un P'tit Coin de Paradis from Domaine Les Vignes de Paradis is a parcel of land located on the shores of Lake Geneva. As its name suggests, this is a true paradise, with a very special climate. During the day, the sun's rays are reflected in the water, bathing the vines in sunshine all day long. In the evening, it's just the opposite: the coolness of the lake ensures that the grapes don't ripen too quickly. A situation perfectly suited to the cultivation of Chasselas.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Chasselas wines have often been shunned by many consumers as uninteresting, either very flat or often diluted. Here, Dominique Lucas has found the right recipe. His Chasselas wines rival the finest Loire chenins. The wine is aged in oak barrels and concrete eggs.

The nose is very elegant, precise and mineral. Notes of pear, lime blossom and orange blossom blend perfectly with more exotic notes of apricot and mango.

The palate is beautiful, with the substance and roundness of the Chasselas. The minerality gradually reveals itself during tasting. This is a very pleasant wine that will surprise even the most discerning guests.
