The Terre de Jonquières cuvée from the Mas Cal Demoura wine estate is a blend of 5 grape varieties: Syrah 30%, Cinsault 20%, Grenache 10%, Mourvèdre 15% and Carignan 25%. The plot is located on the limestone gravel of theTerrasses du Larzac, which contributes to the freshness of the wines. All the vines are grown according to the principles oforganic agriculture.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This cuvée Terre de Jonquières is the wine estate's historic wine. It is produced at very low yields, around 23 hl/hectare. Winemaking takes place in concrete and stainless steel vats, and the wine is aged in 500-liter demi-muids for around 12 months. A wine in the style of the Mas Jullien wine estate, with a more accessible youthfulness.

On the nose, the wine opens with notes of garrigue and pretty touches of spice. There are also hints of black fruit. A nose ofgreat refinement, on a par with the great Languedoc wines.

On the palate, the wine has great finesse and silky tannins. The winemaking process has allowed the terroir to reveal itself in its youth. Hints of ripe black fruit mingle with violet and truffle.
