Domaine de la Petite Empreinte 's Gamay cuvée is a perfect illustration of the vitality of the Coteaux Bourguignons. Produced exclusively in magnum, this cuvée offers a sincere and refined expression of the grape variety in the appellation. From its Gamay vines planted in Vincelottes in 1990 on a west-facing limestone slope , the wine estate has produced a particularly successful cuvée, full of character and emotion.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This Gamay is far from a caricature of the grape variety. There's something frank, calm and almost peaceful about it. I like the way it doesn't try to seduce by demonstration, but by the obvious. The expression is right, faithful to the place, with that discreet but tenacious substance that only good winemakers know how to reveal. For me, Domaine de la Petite Empreinte is one of the best value-for-money wines in the Coteaux Bourguignons appellation.

On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of tart cherry and fresh strawberry, complemented by notes of nutmeg and a touch of undergrowth. The whole is precise, without excess, and evokes a gourmet freshness. Discreet spicy nuances add complexity to the bouquet.

On the palate, the attack is supple, with a fluid body and well-integrated acidity. The red fruit expresses itself frankly, supported by a light structure that gives it staying power without weighing it down. The long, subtly peppery finish prolongs the experience with elegance.
