Domaine Combier's Crozes-Hermitage is the wine estate's classic cuvée. It is the most representative of the Combier style. The vines are located in the village of Pont Isère on clay-limestone terroirs with rounded pebbles. The Syrah vines were planted on hillsides over 30 years ago and have always been cultivated organically. Successive sorting of the grapes ensures high quality berries, picked at perfect ripeness.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Crozes Hermitage cuvée produced by Laurent Combier and his son Julien boasts extraordinary balance. Its silky, gourmet appearance in the early years makes it a wine for pleasure, which can also be aged for several years.

On the nose, we are delighted to discover an intense palette oscillating between notes of violet, prune, blackcurrant and white pepper. A precise, very elegant wine, imbued with great sensitivity.

The palate is just as intense and greedy as the nose, plunging into a basket of black fruits, to emerge in a bouquet of very fine flowers. The texture is delicate, the tannins silky and the finish fresh and easy to digest.
