Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : At Domaine Catherine et Claude Maréchal, even discreet appellations take on a life of their own. In this Ladoix Les Chaillots, the Pinot Noir is as fleshy as it is digestible, driven by a real sense of balance.

The nose opens with a bouquet of red and black fruits, including Morello cherries, plums and fresh raspberries, enhanced by a hint of kirsch and well-integrated woody nuances. On aeration, floral and spicy notes enrich the bouquet.

Juicy on the palate, with a well-balanced body where the tannins, still slightly tight, provide a pleasant chewiness and real relief. The fruit expresses itself with greed and freshness, while a mineral and spicy framework establishes the authentic imprint of the terroir on the fluid, salivating finish.
