Of all the white wines produced by Gilles Berlioz , Les Filles du Domaine Partagé Gilles Berlioz is undoubtedly one of the most delicate and expressive cuvées. On the bright hillsides of Chignin, in Savoie, the wine estate cultivates a tiny plot of Roussanne biodynamically.Harvested at optimum ripeness, they produce this luminousChignin-Bergeron.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin: Les Filles embodies the precision of a high-altitude Roussanne, between floral finesse and mineral breadth. A gourmet Chignin-Bergeron that combines the natural richness of the grape variety with the tension typical of Savoy's high-altitude terroirs, and reflects the mastery of Gilles Berlioz.

The nose opens with a refined bouquet of white flowers, fresh pear and wild fennel. On aeration, slight mineral accents of damp chalk reveal the balance of this wine.

On the palate, the attack is fresh despite the greediness of ripe yellow fruit. The body is both voluptuous and precise. The texture is caressing, criss-crossed by a fine, structuring acidity. This balance brings out evolving aromas of light honey. A minerality of chalk and iodine lengthens the saline, slightly lemony finish. A white of altitude and substance, to be enjoyed now or forgotten for a few years in the cellar.
