Wine Description

The Grand Blanc du domaine Henri Milan is one assembly of several white grape varieties of which: white grenache role, the roussanne chardonnay and small grain nutmeg. The vines are, on average, 25 years old and are located on the terroirs of silt clay Saint Rémy de Provence

What is amazing in this cuvée is its extraordinary capacity to guard. A wine that can easily be drunk 20 years after bottling. It expresses aromatics as complex and precise as in youth.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Grand Blanc cuvée of the Milan estate is a beautiful example of natural wine. It is produced with precision and great harmony. The Milan family did a great job of selecting non-local grape varieties. This includes: Henri Milan who worked to improve the complexity of the wines through the wise advice of Claude Bourguignon, a famous biologist.

That's why the Great White is named Vin de France because many grape varieties are not allowed in the appellation Baux de Provence or even Alpilles.

The wine develops citrus notes, hints of white flowers and papaya. An amazing nose freshness for a wine from Provence. It is this multitude of grape varieties that allows this.

In the palate, the wine is ample and has a beautiful material. This white is both very gourmet, fine and distinguished by the diversity of its aromatics. They oscillate between exotic fruit notes, a floral side and beautiful bitter touches at the end of the mouth.
