The Champagne "The Vignes de Montgueux" is the leading product of Jacques Lassaigne. One champagne wine which the Lassaigne family first made known thanks to the star restaurants. It is a cuvée that was developed to be tasted in aperitif. Mas time goes on, this very gastronomic cuvée has taken place alongside the largest dishes of the michelin stars. This champagne is from more than 7 plots all located on the terroirs of the small village of Montgueux. The Chardonnay is the king grape variety on the terroir of Montgueux and is 90% encépagement. Emmanuel Lassaigne made the choice to make Champagnes Extra Brut. These, therefore, have very little to do in order to enhance its terroir. This gives wine champagne and very precise of remarkable freshness.

Philippe Mischler, Sommelier at Mundovin: My first meeting with this champagne was during a gastronomic meal en Alsace. I was immediately surprised by the quality of this champagne, a real little slap. The first thing this champagne reminded me is the winey side of a Larmandier Bernier and the gourmet of a Bollinger. I really enjoyed it this vintage Les Vignes de Montgueux.

In the nose, we discover a subtle champagne, which develops fresh almond notes. We also highlight the granny smith apple, and thus a very slightly pastry side.

The mouth is very silky and the bubbles are really thin. the effervescence is not too important what makes it possible to bring a greed to this champagne wine. We really feel that the winemaker Emmanuel Lassaigne wanted to make a good wine first before making a champagne.
