Michel Bouzereau 's Puligny Montrachet 1er cru Les Champs Gains is a wine that occupies a very important place in the Bouzereau family range. Indeed, it was in 1974 that the opportunity arose to acquire a parcel on this magnificent Les Champs Gains climat. It's located just above Les Folatières, with a south-easterly exposure that allows the grapes to reach magnificent ripeness. These old vines, planted in 1950, now perfectly express the full potential of this terroir.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : This Puligny Montrachet is a jewel from Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau. The wine reveals an intensity and aromatic depth at the top of the range. It is far ahead of most "classic" Puligny Montrachet 1er cru. Ageing in barrels, ¼ of which are new, harmonizes tension and concentration. A beautiful wine that should not be missed, as it is all too rare.

On the nose, the wine opens with a bouquet of citrus fruit, bay leaf, turmeric, reinette apple and hints of fresh herbs such as chervil and dill.

On the palate, the wine is rich, energetic and bursting with fruit. Notes of white fruit, citrus, minerality and a hint of spice all combine to create a long, lingering finish.
