The L'Enfant Terriblecuvée produced by Nicolas Reau is a pure Cabernet Franc whose vines are located on Anjou terroirs. The soil is mostly composed of clay and limestone. Nicolas Reau's vines are over a hundred years old, and are run using biodynamic methods . This cuvée is totally sulfur-free, with no additives. Ageing for 18 months in barrel gives the wine just the right silkiness for easy drinking in its early years.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : Nicolas Reau's L'Enfant Terrible is a true gastronomic wine, ideal for powerful dishes such as game or meat in sauce. It can easily be enjoyed young, but is not afraid of ageing: its ageing potential is estimated at around ten years. Nicolas Reau's natural approach to vineyard management and winemaking gives this cuvée a unique personality.

This Anjou is full of surprises on the nose. There are notes of ripe red fruit, as well as hints of fir buds, garrigue and even a hint of ash.

On the palate, it's just like the other Clos des Treilleswines , with more power and concentration than the other cuvées. The wine reveals animal notes, spicy touches and lovely fruit. The finish is deep, dense and juicy.
