Long description
The Vincent Pinard wine estate is run by brothers Florent and Clément Pinard, who take great care in developing their Sancerre wines. Far from the many caricatures of sauvignon and pinot noir, they strive to produce the most precise wines possible. In Sancerre, the soil is unusual in that it is composed of Kimmeridgian limestone, which lends great minerality to all the wines. It is this authenticity of terroir that the Vincent Pinard wine estate seeks to highlight.
Florent and Clément are not only passionate artisan winemakers, they are also true researchers. In fact, they are constantly experimenting with different types of work depending on the plots, so that the identity of each cuvée is as clear and precise as possible. For example, they have chosen to harvest each parcel several times, to ensure that all the grapes are picked at just the right ripeness.
It's this constant quest for perfection that has put the Vincent Pinard wine estate in the spotlight over the past few years. In our opinion, this is the most interesting and consistent wine estate producing great white and red Sancerre wines.
We are fortunate to have the full range of the domaine's wines, 8 whites in all:
Clémence, Florès, Nuance, Harmonie, Petit Chemarin, Grand Chemarin, Le Château, Chêne Marchand.
And 3 reds worthy of great Burgundy wines:
Pinot Noir, Charlouise, Vendanges Entières
