Wine Description

Pinot Noir is one of the great cuvées of the Claus Preisinger wine estate. This Pinot Noircuvée is made from whole bunches of grapes macerated for 5 days in carbonic maceration to extract the maximum amount of fruit. The wine is then aged in amphora for 8 months.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The Pinot Noir cuvée is a natural wine produced by Claus Preisinger , who wanted to make a wine of good body and density, with a very digestible, gourmet side. A wine to be enjoyed at a temperature of around 15°C for even greater pleasure.

On the nose, the wine opens with hints of kirsch, leather and an almost sanguine, animal quality. Notes of black fruit appear after a few minutes of oxygenation, giving the wine an extra gourmet touch .

The palate is fresh, with magnificent, invigorating acidity. The tannins are ripe and slightly astringent, giving depth to this Pinot Noir. A true symbol of gourmandise , which you'll never tire of drinking with friends over a convivial meal.
