The Albert Mann wine estate is a symbol of Alsatian winemaking excellence. It single-handedly embodies the revival of this wine region, which is still too often misunderstood by wine lovers.
The Barthelmé family owns vineyards located on the finest Alsatian terroirs, such as the famous Schlossberg and Furstentum for white wines. Above all, it produces some of Alsace’s greatest Pinot Noirs, including the cuvées Les Saintes Claires, Clos de la Faille, Grand P, and Grand H.
Their mastery of both red and white wines has enabled them to produce exceptional wines. The wine estate has also been awarded its prestigious third star by the *Revue des Vins de France*.
The Albert Mann wine estate spans 23 hectares and produces almost exclusively white wine, with approximately 21 hectares dedicated to white grape varieties and only 2 hectares of Pinot Noir—hence the extreme rarity of these wines.
All 23 hectares were certified as biodynamic vineyards in 2013. Today, the wine estate serves as a model for all Alsatian winemakers and lovers of fine French wines.
The cuvées we carry include the Pinot Blanc Auxerrois, the Riesling, the Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg, the Riesling Grand Cru Furstentum, the Pinot Noir Clos de la Faille, and the Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires.
