The Domaine de la Pousse d'Or is a prestigious wine estate with 5 grands crus and 11 premiers crus on the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune , 3 of which are in monopoly. The five grands crus are Le Clos de la Roche in Morey, Bonnes Mares, Chevalier Montrachet in Puligny, Clos du Roi and Bressandes in Corton. The three monopoly 1er Crus in Volnay are : Clos de la Bousse d'Or, the prestigious Clos des 60 ouvrées and Clos d'Audignac.

This historic wine estate dates back to the 16th century in Volnay, and boasts one of the finest wine-growing heritages in Burgundy.

Patrick Landanger has brought the wine estate to the forefront, radically transforming it with major investments in both vineyard work and winemaking and ageing facilities.

The quality of the wines produced is the fruit of a perfect harmony between grape variety, climate, soil and the winemaker's know-how. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnaygrapes contribute bouquet and taste to the wine, while expressing the specific character of each terroir. Climatic conditions produce vintages with different personalities each year.

The wines are vinified slowly, as naturally as possible, and aged in oak barrels (30% new on average) for up to 18 months, depending on the cuvée. One of our objectives is to obtain bottles with a real aptitude for ageing.

We have chosen to select what we consider the quintessence of their production: Clos de la Roche, Corton Clos du Roi, Bonnes Mares, Chambolle Musigny, Chambolle Musigny 1er cru Feusselottes, Volnay 1er Cru les 60 Ouvrées and Chevalier Montrachet.
