Domaine Robert Denogent is a Burgundian wine estate located in the town of Fuissé in southern Burgundy.The Denogent family began winemakingin the early 20th centurywith just 5 hectares of vineyards. In 2006, Jean Jacques Robert Denogent’s two sons took over the reins and continued to carry on the family tradition. The two brothers aim to carry on the wine estate’s legacy with a spirit of generosity and approachability. However, they also bring their own unique touch, influenced by iconic winemakers from the Jura, Savoie, and, of course, Burgundy.

The wines are always authentic, delicious, and entirely artisanal, with no compromise on quality. “Farmers’ wines, ” as they like tosay… Antoine and Nicolas Denogent know how to adapt to the unique characteristics of each vintage, with the sole goal of producing wines that arefree of artifice, artificial enhancements, and additives whenever possible.

For several years now, the wine estate has been cultivating 13 hectares of vineyards entirely according to biodynamic principles. They own approximately 30 plots spread over more than 30 km from north to south between the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais. This great diversity of terroirs lends the wines true complexity. The energy of the land also gives the wines of the Robert Denogent wine estate a unique character. The soils—comprising schist, limestone, clay, silt, and sandstone—are brought to their full potential through the work of the two brothers, who strive to produce the quintessence of each terroir.

For the Robert Denogentwine estate , biodiversity has always been a major asset, helping to keep the soils rich and alive and thereby limiting the need for intervention. Supporting the vine by giving it every opportunity to thrive using its own resources is the key to success, according to the Denogent family, and today these methods are followed by many leading Burgundian, French, and international wine estates.

The cuvées we are fortunate to offer you are each more exquisite than the last, starting with the Mâcon Village Les Sardines, a crisp, fresh, and refined white wine that we guarantee you’ll fall in love with. The Pouilly-Fuissé La Croix is a magnificent, rich, and indulgent wine that’s easy to enjoy even in its youth. And how could we not mention the Saint-Véran Les Pommards—a burst of minerality, a wine as crystal-clear as spring water. Nor can we forget the Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Vers Cras, a wine of incredible complexity whose vines are nearly a century old. We’ll finish with the limited-edition Pouilly-Fuissé Cuvée , a blend from the wine estate’s most prestigious plots, notably Clos Reyssié —which, due to low yields, wasn’t produced as a single-vineyard wine this time, but it won’t be long before it’s back on the market.
