Roagna’s 2011 Barolo Pira is a pure Piedmont Nebbiolo , sourced from a single vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, aged for five years in neutral barrels following sixty to seventy days of maceration: dried rose, cherry, licorice, and a salty, lingering finish. Among the great Italian reds that Mundovin carefully selects, this one stands out for its integrity and its aging potential through 2036.
