Wine Description

Domaine De Montille 's Meursault 1er cru Les Perrièresis one of the finest nectars to be tasted on the Côte d'Or. Its profile is rich, delicious and exceptionally complex. It's very close to the level of the famous Coche Dury wines , in a slightly finer, fresher style.

Philippe Mischler, sommelier at Mundovin : The climat Les Perrières has long been considered the highest-quality premier cru in the entire Meursault appellation. It has the particularity of a very stony, sunny soil, giving wines of great amplitude and incomparable minerality. This Meursault 1er cru Les Perrières from the De Montille wine estate is a long-keeping wine, reaching its peak drinking around 10 years after bottling.

On the nose, the wine opens the doors to a garden of scents. We discover a multitude of notes of yellow fruit, flowers, subtle grilled and smoky overtones and great mineral freshness.

On the palate, these lovely aromas are matched by a full, rich body. This is a white wine that reveals mineral power and a caressing mouthfeel, all balanced to perfection. One of the greatest tasting moments I've ever experienced.
